All hand knotted area rugs and carpets are custom made to order in Kathmandu, Nepal. For the creation of our products we use only the finest quality of raw materials and traditional production techniques passed through generations of master craftspeople, thus ensuring the best possible end result for all of our carpets and area rugs.

The Kathmandu area has been well known for hand knotted carpet production for many years; almost all production has historically focussed on ‘free-standing’ area rugs using combinations of Tibetan wool and Chinese silk, these materials are still used extensively within our production, however we have also been very active in the development of more unusual fibres for production such as viscose, banana, and now Bamboo. Over the past 12-24 months we have worked extensively with these new yarn types to create many innovative products that lend themselves not only to area rugs but also to fully fitted installations.
